Conflicts:
 * handshake_client.go: conflict between our ("crypto/tls: allow client to
pick TLS 1.3, do not enable it by default.") and upstream
("crypto/tls: split clientHandshake into multiple methods"), resolve
by applying the mutualVersion->pickVersion change in pickTLSVersion.
 * handshake_server.go: trivial conflict due to upstreamed patch
("crypto/tls: replace signatureAndHash by SignatureScheme.") and
("crypto/tls: implement TLS 1.3 server 0-RTT") which added pskBinder.

Other merge changes:
 * tls13.go: signatureAndHashes as added in ("crypto/tls: implement TLS
1.3 minimal server") was renamed as required by ("crypto/tls: replace
   signatureAndHash by SignatureScheme.").
 * handshake_client.go: moved check from ("crypto/tls: check that client
cipher suite matches version") to pickCipherSuite as required by
("crypto/tls: split clientHandshake into multiple methods").

998f77009e crypto/tls: remove TLS13CipherSuites.
To allow clients to advertise both TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 cipher suites,
remove the distinction between both suites. TLS 1.3 suites are now
always included in the default cipher list (and the client will send it
if MaxVersion allows for it).

Since TLS 1.3 is expected to become the default MaxVersion and
applications might have set only TLS 1.2 cipher suites in their
configuration, TLS 1.3 cipher suites are added when none are present.

Alternatively, I considered disallowing overriding the TLS 1.3 suites,
but that requires more complexity and has not much benefits. Provide a
mechanism and do not dictate policy, application developers might want
to fix a cipher suite for testing other implementations for example.

26a95ba46a [dev.tls] crypto/tls: implement TLS 1.3 cipher suites
I opted for adding a separate TLS13CipherSuites field to the Config
because library users that did not set Config.MaxVersion are
supposed to get TLS 1.3 support automatically, like it has been for
HTTP/2, but having set CipherSuites would effectively disable it.

7743362eba [dev.tls] crypto/tls: implement TLS 1.3 record layer
Opening the 1.3 dances with the record layer because it has been the
most stable through the drafts, has the least dependencies, and has been
tricky in my experience.

Note that the record layer version check is entirely removed according
to https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-tls-tls13-18#appendix-C.2.

A test that happened to hit that check (but was not made to test for it)
has changed to the next error in the stack.

There are no 1.3 tests at the moment, and I suspect they will all have to
wait for the patch cycle to reach interoperability.

Using > / <= VersionTLS13 for all conditionals to transparently support
draft versions and hypotetical future versions.

See https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-tls-tls13-18#section-5.

SNI values may not include a trailing dot according to

6918d87d90 crypto/tls: switch to OpenSSL 1.1.0 for test data.
We will need OpenSSL 1.1.0 in order to test some of the features
expected for Go 1.8. However, 1.1.0 also disables (by default) some
things that we still want to test, such as RC4, 3DES and SSLv3. Thus
developers wanting to update the crypto/tls test data will need to build
OpenSSL from source.

This change updates the test data with transcripts generated by 1.1.0
(in order to reduce future diffs) and also causes a banner to be printed
if 1.1.0 is not used when updating.

(The test for an ALPN mismatch is removed because OpenSSL now terminates
the connection with a fatal alert if no known ALPN protocols are
offered. There's no point testing against this because it's an OpenSSL
behaviour.)

1822025fbf crypto/tls: add Config.Clone
In Go 1.0, the Config struct consisted only of exported fields.

In Go 1.1, it started to grow private, uncopyable fields (sync.Once,
sync.Mutex, etc).

Ever since, people have been writing their own private Config.Clone
methods, or risking it and doing a language-level shallow copy and
copying the unexported sync variables.

Clean this up and export the Config.clone method as Config.Clone.
This matches the convention of Template.Clone from text/template and
html/template at least.

f513433c3e crypto/tls: add KeyLogWriter for debugging
Add support for writing TLS client random and master secret
in NSS key log format.

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Projects/NSS/Key_Log_Format

Normally this is enabled by a developer debugging TLS based
applications, especially HTTP/2, by setting the KeyLogWriter
to an open file. The keys negotiated in handshake are then
logged and can be used to decrypt TLS sessions e.g. in Wireshark.

Applications may choose to add support similar to NSS where this
is enabled by environment variable, but no such mechanism is
built in to Go. Instead each application must explicitly enable.

The RFC is clear that the Parameters in an AlgorithmIdentifer for an RSA

07b6287f24 crypto/tls: allow renegotiation to be handled by a client.
This change adds Config.Renegotiation which controls whether a TLS
client will accept renegotiation requests from a server. This is used,
for example, by some web servers that wish to “add” a client certificate
to an HTTPS connection.

This is disabled by default because it significantly complicates the
state machine.

Originally, handshakeMutex was taken before locking either Conn.in or
Conn.out. However, if renegotiation is permitted then a handshake may
be triggered during a Read() call. If Conn.in were unlocked before
taking handshakeMutex then a concurrent Read() call could see an
intermediate state and trigger an error. Thus handshakeMutex is now
locked after Conn.in and the handshake functions assume that Conn.in is
locked for the duration of the handshake.

Additionally, handshakeMutex used to protect Conn.out also. With the
possibility of renegotiation that's no longer viable and so
writeRecordLocked has been split off.

longer self-signed. This allows some tests to exercise the standard
certificate verification paths in the future.

0269b0170f crypto/tls: call GetCertificate if Certificates is empty.
This change causes the GetCertificate callback to be called if
Certificates is empty. Previously this configuration would result in an
error.

This allows people to have servers that depend entirely on dynamic
certificate selection, even when the client doesn't send SNI.

Fixes #9208.

8ea126be4d crypto/tls: add support for Certificate Transparency
This change adds support for serving and receiving Signed Certificate
Timestamps as described in RFC 6962.

The server is now capable of serving SCTs listed in the Certificate
structure. The client now asks for SCTs and, if any are received,
they are exposed in the ConnectionState structure.

0581a2f81d crypto/tls: fix renegotiation extension.
There are two methods by which TLS clients signal the renegotiation
extension: either a special cipher suite value or a TLS extension.

It appears that I left debugging code in when I landed support for the
extension because there's a "+ 1" in the switch statement that shouldn't
be there.

The effect of this is very small, but it will break Firefox if
security.ssl.require_safe_negotiation is enabled in about:config.
(Although almost nobody does this.)

This change fixes the original bug and adds a test. Sadly the test is a
little complex because there's no OpenSSL s_client option that mirrors
that behaviour of require_safe_negotiation.

4e47a4aef7 crypto/tls: support TLS_FALLBACK_SCSV as a server.
A new attack on CBC padding in SSLv3 was released yesterday[1]. Go only
supports SSLv3 as a server, not as a client. An easy fix is to change
the default minimum version to TLS 1.0 but that seems a little much
this late in the 1.4 process as it may break some things.

Thus this patch adds server support for TLS_FALLBACK_SCSV[2] -- a
mechanism for solving the fallback problem overall. Chrome has
implemented this since February and Google has urged others to do so in
light of yesterday's news.

With this change, clients can indicate that they are doing a fallback
connection and Go servers will be able to correctly reject them.
